–        ‘Oranges & Lemons’ was released on Feb 27^th 1989

–        It was the 11^th studio album from XTC (Colin Moulding, Andy Partridge, Dave Gregory)

–        The album was produced by Paul Fox, this was his first job producing an album

–        The album sleeve was designed by Yellow Submarine artist Heinz Edelmann

–        Instead of a full blown tour to support the record the band went on a two-week acoustic radio-station tour of the US and Canada that ended in Toronto at Eastern Sound Studios before a live studio audience of two hundred people.
