New Raveonettes album “Observator” out September 11th!

I’m excited to see a new album announcement by the Raveonettes, I expected BRMC to announce their next album sooner since it seems like it’s been longer since the last one. Anyways, I’m still happy to know there will be more good new music in just a few months. Another cool thing is that the Raveonettes are selling 100 all access VIP passes for fans who may want to see more than one show on their tour.

I decided to take advantage of the VIP pass even though I’m only currently planning to attend the California dates, not that I don’t want to travel for some shows. It’s just hard to do if most of my friends who are fans of the band are either busy working and/or can’t afford to travel.

Here’s the official announcement email and tour dates:

Fellow Ravers,We’re ecstatic to announce the coming of our highly anticipated new full length album “Observator” out September 11th in the US and September 10th in rest of the world.

It’s a very dark, personal album which wasn’t easy to make but we overcame every single physical and emotional hurdle and ended up with a truly classic album.

It started off in Venice Beach, CA, went through seedy LA and ended up in the hustle and bustle of NYC. It’s a varied piece of music, coherent and deeply engaged.

Here’s an interview we did with SPIN which reveals a lot more about this truly insane journey :
